Interesting. I've not yet read any of the Wheel of Time books (the first, at least, is on my list) so I don't have a frame of reference for how true that is, but I'll happily consider that a win.
I’ve only read the first couple myself, because my local library doesn’t have the whole set. Worth reading though, for fans of dark-ish high fantasy. Here, it’s not so much the Norse aesthetic that reminds me of it, as much as the “small village in a remote place where something weird is going on” kind of setting. Looking forward to reading the rest!
Fortunately I've snagged the first book on Audible already, so I'll be giving it a listen once I finish listening to my audiobook on Cicero. I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far, too!
Thank you for the comment, which is in its way every bit as creative as the stories you've been writing. (It reads metered like a poem. Don't know if you intended it that way, but it's pleasant all the same!)
Your support is deeply appreciated and I hope you'll continue to enjoy this and future stories.
It looks most promising! I just picked up a copy on Amazon.
Thank you, Bill! I hope you enjoy it!
Great atmosphere! Kind of reminds me of Wheel of Time.

Ravens are among the smartest of birds.
Could this one have been seeking a traveling companion?
But then you mentioned "Hunin," and I wondered where "Munin" was.
Afore I started looking for the one-eyed Woden.
Now, I eagerly await the next episode of this story.
