Excellent. I'm enjoying these challenges. Damned, I wish I had the money to be a book publisher. There's so much talent on substack that I could publish a book a month.

Definite truth in that. Could pump out a couple dozen anthologies a year easy with the amount of good work some of the writers here pump out. Thanks for reading, Joseph.

Dave, that was absolutely brilliant! Beautiful. I think I enjoyed every single sentence. Every paragraph was carved into existence like a work of fine art.

From the delicious descriptions to the cultural referrences (I love Japanese culture), and the clash of Ignacio’s honest Hispanic temperament with the illusive Oriental calmness… wow wow wow, I’ll be thinking about this story for a long time. Thank you for writing it.🩶

Thanks Kathrine! (I know I thanked you privately already, but what the heck, I want it seen.)

This is awesome man. Loved it start to finish, great pacing, awesome visceral action as usual and checky perspective switch/twist at the end. Very satisfying story.
