That scene is the same one she dreamed at the beginning of the story. It's a recurring dream that's been coming to her for a few weeks at this point, shortly before she started heading toward Halvfjord. Including this instance, she's had the dream a total of seven times, and each time it has lasted longer and increased in its detail. As for why she keeps having this dream, we'll just have to wait and see there.
