Thank you kindly, sir. Between my other serials and short stories and the challenge of writing characters who don’t speak as we do, I don’t revisit this part of my world as often as I’d like. As such, it makes me doubly pleased when the writing lands and has its intended effect.
I plan to write more with them in the future. Same with Captain Molo's adventures, though Blackpaw and White-eye are a bit more challenging since I can't lean on traditional dialogue with them.
I remember how I challenged myself with the five different levels of Bikar Speak. Sometimes it is much easier to just write as usual, yet, the challenge yields much greater rewards :D
Excellent opening. I was in the jungle with them, feels very otherworldly. Looking forward to more.

Very well done. I grieved alongside white-eye when his mate was killed.
I raged along with him and agreed when he decided to enact vengeance.
I'm always skeptical when people show up out of nowhere and offer refuge and help.
Some small part of me wonders if they sent the men-bat's down.
Oh, I was waiting for that! After the first story about those two primal brothers, I was, suffice to say, hooked :D
