Leiber's vast Lankhmar series, which follows both the mishaps and adventures of the barbarian skald Fafhrd and the sorcerous rogue the Gray Mouser, provides fun and gripping page-turners.
I recently read this series and quite enjoyed it. One of my favorite stories is The Swords of Lankhmar, and some of the other ones feel like they'd fit in an Elder Scrolls game, which is pretty cool.

Ah, this really takes me back! When I was young, I read all the Lankhmar books and loved them.
They’ve been an absolute joy for me so far. I’m excited to hop back in after I’ve finished reading and processing The Last of the Mohicans.
I love Leiber’s work. I’ve read them all several times each.

Read and enjoyed all the books you mentioned in this article!

It happens.
(Fafhrd and the Mouser always seemed to remind me of Rocky and Bullwinkle since they were both short/tall adventurer pairs).
I never thought of that but now I'm never going to be able not to see it haha!
